“Think Spring” has been an easy accomplishment in Northern Indiana, as we have experienced unseasonably warm temperatures for nearly two weeks.
The Michiana Event Center (MEC) in Howe only enhances our subliminal thoughts with the Michiana Home & Yard Show on Friday, March 23, 10 am-8 pm, and Saturday, March 24, 8 am-5 pm.
Tickets are $5.00 per person. Children age 12 and under receive free admission.
What You’ll Experience
Local businesses that have anything to do with home and yard will showcase their wares and talents at this event that draws dozens of local vendors to this 150,000 square foot facility.
You’ll find:
- Construction ideas, especially related to going “green;”
- Landscaping ideas;
- Remodeling ideas;
- Latest technology in heating and cooling;
- Outdoor grills;
- Appliances;
- Steel construction;
- Indoor & outdoor décor;
- And much more!
If you need information on multiple home-related topics, you won’t have to travel all over town looking for answers.
You also won’t have to worry about bees buzzing all around or getting attacked by bad UVA rays because this event is indoors!
Taste of Home Cooking School Comes to the Home & Yard Show!
Many of us are familiar with the Taste of Home magazines and cookbooks. If you’ve ever wanted to talk with those involved in this industry, you can!
During this interactive event, you’ll watch culinary expert Dana Elliott as she demonstrates 10 new recipes you can recreate at home.
You’ll also go home with a gift bag full of products, coupons, and magazines.
