Guys: We’ll Make The List; You Do the Legwork

Two lists have been made about holiday gift-shopping in LaGrange County and Shipshewana . The first shopping list focused on kids’ toys and gifts. The second list gave ideas for purchasing for the men. Today’s list, the third and final, will assist you guys who need some extra “help” in the gift-giving area. I have personally visited each of these businesses, and I can say I would be happy with a gift from any of these places. My advice? Look and listen. What do the ladies in your life spend time doing? Purchase something that supports the activities that bring them joy, whether that’s reading, spending time with girlfriends, or treating themselves to a bubble bath surrounded by candlelight. Also, listen to what they’re saying. I’ve been dropping hints to my husband for the past two weeks. I know that trip to Hawaii is out of the question, so I didn’t even bother with that one, but I have mentioned several items I’ve admired in these stores. Go for it! It’s going to be a win-win situation!

5. Your favorite scent in lotions and fragrances from Lotions & Potions (they custom-make fragrances).
6. Jackets from Shipshewana Casuals.
7. Leather purse or wallet from Silver Star.
8. Hand-crafted furniture from Lambright Woodworking.
9. Long-burning candles from “B” Honey Candles.
10. Overnight stay with girlfriends for the Pajama Sale on February 4, 2012.

10. Hand-decorated tea or coffee pot and matching cup from Red Bud Gifts & Coffee Tea Shop.
