Weaver Furniture Sales, an Amish owned business specializing in Amish furniture celebrates its twenty-two year history with a charity bake sale for the needy in Old Order Amish Church district 41-2 September 9 through September 17th 2011. Amish furniture store in Northern Indiana will be hosting an Amish bake sale to benefit the underprivileged in Shipshewana Old Order Amish Church District, the church that Weaver Furniture Sales owners LeRoy and Ida Weaver attend. The ladies of the Amish church will bake a variety of goods to be available for purchase by the general public on September 9, 10, 16 and 17 taking place during the Weaver Furniture Sales 22nd Anniversary celebration. The money generated will help people in the church and the Shipshewana community that have experienced some sort of trauma or suffering. “We try and generate a little bit for those in need when we can. Again, this year the membership of the church has stepped up and offered to help us with our annual bake sale. We are very grateful,” commented Ida Weaver, owner. Visitors will also enjoy savings on handcrafted, solid wood Amish furniture while also helping out the needy in the area. During this celebration all furniture in stock will be marked down 22%. Some prices will be reduced by up to 50% on clearance models. Shoppers will also be treated to snacks and refreshments during the 22nd Anniversary Celebration. On Friday and Saturday of both weekends, all visitors will experience free mouthwatering barbequed roast beef sandwiches, potato chips, pop and other treats. “We have never offered a 22% discount on all items in our store. We have been fortunate and blessed. Hopefully the food and savings will help some that haven’t been so fortunate the past few years during these tough economic times,” states LeRoy Weaver, owner. Except for Sundays, shoppers are encouraged to visit Weaver Furniture Sales in Shipshewana, Indiana sometime between September 9th and 17th to buy their handmade Amish furniture, get some delicious food and refreshments, and help out a great cause.
